Limeleaf Kitchen is located in the city of Chiang Mai that is situated in the north or Lanna kingdom. Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand and was built 700 years ago. It is surrounded by a moat and fortified wall (now in ruins), the old city is a quiet haven from the modern city that surrounds it, with dozens of Temples and ancient sites to visit and a host of guest houses and boutique hotels to choose from.
Surrounding the old city are all the modern trappings of the 21st.century. With an international airport, shopping malls, universities, restaurants, markets and the bustle of city life.
Once a little outside the city the landscape quickly changes to rice paddy fields and farmland surrounded by the foothills of the northern mountains. With national parks boasting countless waterfalls, hot springs, forests and jungle to explore.
