Please let us know you are coming!
We are a small team, we could be out on a hike or picking people up from the bus. If we do not know you are coming you might find Limeleaf eco-Lodge closed.

Getting There

We can pick you up in Chiang Mai: 1500 baht one way for the vehicle, max. 6 people.

The easiest way by car is to take a yellow taxi pick-up, which runs every 30 minutes from Chiang Phueak bus station in Chiang Mai, 200 m on the left outside of Chiang Phueak Gate. These pick-ups run a very efficient and reliable service for 60 Baht each way. They cannot be booked in advance. You get off at the Mae Kachan Hot Springs (Naam Pou Roon), before the village of Mae Kachan. There we will pick you up to bring you to Limeleaf. This pickup must be pre-arranged with us by telephone as it takes some time for us to get to the pickup place. Cost of the pickup is 400 baht one way for up to 8 people.

There are also hourly buses from Chiang Mai to Mae Kachan, a village on the crossroads of Highways 118 and 120. There are also regular buses from Chiang Rai to Mae Kachan. We can pick you up from either Mae Kachan or the hot springs located just south of Mae Kachan. This pickup must be pre-arranged with us by telephone as it takes some time for us to get to the pickup place. Cost of the pickup is 400 baht one way for up to 8 people.

Alternatively, drive yourself. Take  Highway 118 from Chiang Mai towards Chiang Rai and then turn onto Road 3058 and follow the Limeleaf signs.

Please be aware that you or we can not drive any vehicles all the way up to the lodge. You will have to walk about 20 minutes along trails from the vehicles to the lodge, please keep this in mind with the luggage you bring and shoes you wear. Also please be aware that you will be staying in the jungle, wearing clothes that keeps your skin covered is the smart choice during your stay. Even though there are limited mosquitoes due to the height, there are animals in the jungle. Lastly, bring torches as there is only limited light at night from the solar system.
