Farming at Limeleaf

Limeleaf eco-lodge is a resort on an organic farm of 15 rai (1.6 hectare) near the farms of the Black Lahu hill tribe. This tribe farms as organic as possible; natural fertilizers, no pesticides or chemicals for their crops.

The water used for farming is rain and mountain water and the environment of the farms is pristine jungle, which avoids contamination from previous activities. Focus is to imitate a natural ecosystem. The produce of these farms is best suited for local and seasonal consumption.

One of their main products is organic coffee, and at the lodge this is the coffee you will drink. And with a bit of luck you will see the dried beans being roasted on an open fire. All the food prepared at the lodge is farm grown by the Black Lahu tribe or sourced with other organic producers in the area.
